The company adds specialised software for quotations, cost calculation and manufacturing breakdowns to its portfolio. With experience dating back to 2004, the team joins Microcad Software to drive this new chapter.
Microcad Software, developer of Autokitchen and Autoclosets, has acquired CTMobl, a software solution specialising in the management of pricing, quotations, costs and manufacturing breakdowns for kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom furniture manufacturers.
The acquisition marks another step in Microcad Software’s evolution, expanding its portfolio with a tool designed to support the sales and production processes of companies in the industry.
CTMobl was founded in 2004 by Alex Andreo, who has spent more than twenty years developing the software in close collaboration with manufacturers, joinery businesses and furniture industry professionals.
This experience has led to the development of a solution tailored to the real-world needs of businesses: calculating furniture prices based on its specific features, preparing quotations quickly and generating useful information to plan and organise manufacturing.
A tool that bridges the gap between quotations and the manufacturer’s production reality
CTMobl5 allows users to configure kitchens, wardrobes and bathrooms based on product catalogues, dimensions, materials, finishes and pricing conditions.
Its key features include cost and sales price calculations, price list management, the application of calculation formulas, quotation preparation and the generation of manufacturing breakdowns.
The software offers different methods for calculating furniture prices, ranging from commercial price lists to cost assessments based on manufacturing breakdowns.
It also allows users to prepare customer documents and orders, as well as generate specific files for use in other manufacturing systems and machine connections.

The acquisition of CTMobl also brings its creator onto the Microcad Software team.
After more than two decades leading the project, Alex Andreo embarks on a new professional chapter, where he will continue to contribute his in-depth knowledge of the software, manufacturing processes and customer needs.
